Polish outsourcing company · welders & fabricators

We take on the projects your welders can’t reach.

IWS supplies certified welders, fitters and complete crews to steel, energy, shipbuilding and heavy-industry projects across Europe — executing your scope in an area inside your facility, under our own supervisor, to your procedures, invoiced per kilogram or tonne accepted. We do not manufacture in our own name.

Services

One partner from the first welder to the last weld map.

Certified welders on your site

MIG/MAG, TIG, MMA, SAW and FCAW welders qualified to EN ISO 9606-1, deployed to your procedures (WPS/WPQR) and your supervision — for weeks or for years.

Fitters, hull fitters & assemblers

Steel-structure fitters, pipe fitters and hull fitters who read the drawing, set up the assembly and hand it to the welder ready to tack.

Complete project crews

Our own supervisor, welders, fitters and grinders as one unit in a rented area inside your facility — invoiced per kilogram or tonne against acceptance protocols, per hour, or per work package.

Pipework & pressure equipment

Welders and fitters for pipelines, boilers and pressure vessels — in your prefabrication shop and on your site — for refineries, power plants and petrochemical plants.

Quality & documentation

Welder qualification records, welding maps, NDT coordination and the paperwork your QA department expects with every crew.

Posting compliance (A1)

Workers posted from Poland with A1 certificates, insurance and the documents host-country inspections ask for — handled by us, not by you.

Projects

Work of this kind, delivered for names you know.

IWS supplies the certified people; the client keeps its procedures, inspection and schedule. Three programmes our crews work in today.

Offshore-wind foundation builder Offshore wind foundations Poland · Benelux

Transition pieces and secondary steel for offshore wind

Our client builds the transition pieces and jackets that carry offshore wind turbines, including foundations for the first Polish offshore wind farms in the Baltic. IWS welders and fitters work inside this programme to the client’s qualified procedures: heavy-plate butt and fillet welds, secondary steel, boat landings and platforms, under third-party inspection.

Crane & bulk-handling manufacturer Cranes & bulk-material handling Southern Poland

Crane portals, conveyors and stacker-reclaimer steel

Our client has built hoisting and bulk-handling equipment for over sixty years — portal loaders, conveyor systems and coal-handling plant for chemical works and power stations. IWS supplies welders and fitters for box girders, portal legs, conveyor bridges and machined weldments, working to the client’s WPS and its certified quality system.

Polish shipyard Shipbuilding & ship repair Baltic coast, Poland

Hull blocks, sections and outfitting steel

At the yard on the Baltic coast, IWS crews weld and fit hull sections and blocks — double bottoms, side shells, bulkheads and decks — plus foundations and outfitting steel, in all positions and to classification-society rules. Hull fitters, the trade every yard in Europe is short of, are a core IWS speciality.

How we work

From enquiry to first arc in weeks, not quarters.

  1. 01

    Scope

You send the drawings, standard, processes, positions and dates. We reply within two working days with crew size, qualifications and a price model.

  2. 02

    Qualify

We match welders whose EN ISO 9606-1 certificates cover your process, material group and position — and run a test weld to your WPS if you ask for it.

  3. 03

    Mobilise

A1 posting, insurance, travel, accommodation and PPE are organised by IWS. The crew arrives with documents your site inspector will ask for.

  4. 04

    Deliver

Our supervisor runs the crew and reports progress and NDT results; you accept the work by protocol, we invoice by kilogram or tonne. Scale the crew up or down with a week’s notice.

Standards

We work to your standard. Our people are qualified for it.

Standards we execute against

EN ISO 9606-1
Welder qualification — every welder we send carries a valid certificate for the process, material group and position you specify.
EN ISO 15614-1 / WPS
We weld to your qualified procedures; we do not improvise parameters.
EN ISO 3834
Quality requirements for fusion welding — our coordinators structure records to fit your certified system.
EN 1090-2
Our people work inside your EN 1090-2 system up to the execution class your project requires.
EN ISO 5817
Weld imperfection quality levels B / C / D as acceptance criteria.
PED 2014/68/EU
Pressure equipment — welders and documentation aligned to the directive for notified-body inspection.

About IWS

A Polish outsourcing company built around the welder, not the brochure.

IWS — International Welding Services — is a licensed Polish outsourcing company. We recruit, qualify and post welders and fabricators to industrial projects and execute complete welding scopes in a rented area inside the client’s plant: our workers, our supervisor, your drawings, procedures and inspection, invoiced per kilogram or tonne against acceptance protocols. We do not manufacture in our own name — the product, the certificates and the client relationship stay yours.

Our people come with their certificates, their A1 forms and a coordinator who speaks your language. Our clients keep their own procedures, their own inspection and their own schedule — and add capacity when the order book demands it.

  • Welders qualified per EN ISO 9606-1, retested on your WPS on request
  • Posting handled end-to-end: A1, insurance, travel, housing
  • One coordinator, weekly reporting, week-notice scaling

Questions from procurement

The answers your buyer will ask for first.

How fast can a crew be on site?

A first proposal within two working days of receiving drawings, standard, processes and positions. Mobilisation of an EU-posted crew with A1 certificates typically takes two to four weeks; welders already in our pool can start sooner.

Which welding qualifications do your welders hold?

Every welder carries a valid EN ISO 9606-1 certificate for the process (111, 135/136, 141, 121, 114), material group and position you specify. On request we run a test weld to your WPS before mobilisation and send you the record.

Who is the employer, and who handles posting paperwork?

IWS is the employer. A1 certificates, insurance, travel, accommodation and PPE are organised by IWS, and the crew arrives with the documents host-country inspections ask for. You receive one invoice.

How do you price — per kilogram, per hour or per work package?

All three. Most of our scopes are invoiced per kilogram or tonne of welded steel accepted, against a signed acceptance protocol — you pay for result, not attendance. Hourly rates for personnel supply and fixed prices for defined work packages are also possible.

Can we scale the crew up or down?

Yes — with one week’s notice in either direction. One IWS coordinator stays your single point of contact for hours, progress, NDT results and replacements.

Do you manufacture anything yourselves?

No. IWS is an outsourcing company: we rent an area inside your plant, yard or site, and our welders and fitters execute your scope there under our own supervisor, to your drawings, WPS and inspection. You accept the work by protocol and we invoice by kilogram or tonne. Nothing is fabricated in IWS’s name, so your quality certificates and your client relationship stay entirely yours.

Do you work under our quality system?

Always. We weld to your qualified procedures, under your welding coordinator and your inspection, and structure our records to fit your EN ISO 3834 / EN 1090 / class system.
